Obtaining firmware from upcoming Sony Xperia devices has been made much easier nowadays thanks to tools such as XperiFirm and FlashTool. The Xperia Z3 is a case in point as the system dump for the device has now been obtained, allowing devs to begin porting all of the goodies including home launchers, apps and wallpapers to older Xperia devices. This is Android 4.4.4 firmware with latest software build number 23.0.A.2.93. Expect to see a whole number of ports in the coming days.
