Back in September, we reported that the FreeXperia team of developers were providing nightly releases of Firefox OS for select devices. Five devices were supported (Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, Z2, T2 Ultra and Xperia E3), but now another two have been added to the list – the Xperia Z1 (Honami ) and Xperia Z1 Compact (Amami).
Firefox OS will appeal to those that perhaps want to try something new – as the operating system is fast and lightweight it should work very efficiently on current hardware. If you want to get started hit this link, where you can download the nightly releases.
